Gem Table

A gem fashioned out of beautiful (or native) [type] wood, this table is a play on two natural materials that express the sought-after chatoyance (tiger eye-like waves). It was a technically challenging piece. Meticulous planning was required to give the table its perfect geometric shape, while taking advantage of the directional chatoyance of the wood. This piece of art is indeed a rare gem.
